RC2M-D Motorized Roller Conveyor

RC2M-D motorized roller conveyor with steel frame and galvanized rollersThe RC2M-D is a motorized roller conveyor. Its rollers are powered by an internal motor, so boxes move automatically along the conveyor instead of being pushed by hand or relying on gravity.

Each section measures 2050 × 600 mm and operates at 18 m/min, which is about the pace of a steady walk—ideal for packing lines. The gearbox has a 12.5:1 ratio, providing the torque needed to start moving loaded boxes.

The conveyor features a steel frame and high-strength galvanized steel rollers. The drive system is built into the section, so there’s no external gearbox or components sticking out into the aisle.

It operates quietly at below 60 dB and stands on adjustable feet, allowing you to set the working height anywhere from 650 to 800 mm. You can connect multiple sections to reach the desired length; a shorter RC1M/D model (1000 × 600 mm) is also available.

RC2M-D for Industrial and Logistics Use

The RC2M-D motorized roller conveyor is designed for use in packaging lines, warehouses, logistics hubs, and manufacturing facilities. It efficiently moves boxes and cartons between workstations or to and from automated equipment. Common uses include transferring packed items from packing tables to strapping, wrapping, or labeling stations, and connecting work cells in assembly or order fulfillment processes.

This conveyor is commonly used where a steady, reliable flow of goods is required, such as in e-commerce fulfillment, electronics assembly, and automotive parts handling. It can be extended or repositioned as your production needs change.

How a powered conveyor makes a difference

  • The box moves on its own. A powered conveyor keeps everything moving at a steady rate, while a gravity conveyor always needs a push for the last box.
  • Consistent speed for all users. 18 m/min stays the same from the first hour to the last, so you can count on the output of your packing line.
  • Handles full cartons. The 12.5:1 gearbox delivers enough torque to start a loaded box, not just keep an empty one moving.
  • Quiet operation at the workstation. Less than 60 dB, so team members can easily talk nearby.
  • Modular construction. 2050 × 600 mm sections connect to reach your required length, with a 1000 mm segment for shorter runs.
  • Galvanized rollers. Durable galvanized steel rollers prevent product marking and resist rust in humid packing areas.

Operator responsibilities and line integration: RC2M-D

Operators position goods in the center of the rollers for stable movement and to avoid uneven loading. The conveyor keeps its preset speed automatically, so manual work is limited to loading, unloading, and monitoring the flow. During a typical shift, operators check that boxes are straight, rollers are clear of obstructions, and transfer points to other machines are open.

Included features

  • Motorized roller conveyor with built-in drive system
  • Section size: 2050 × 600 mm
  • Conveying speed: 18 m/min
  • Motor gear ratio of 12.5:1
  • Frame made of steel
  • Rollers are high-strength galvanized steel
  • Noise output stays below 60 dB

  • Shorter RC1M/D section available, 1000 × 600 mm
  • Adjustable feet set working height between 650 and 800 mm
  • Load capacity is 50 kg per section, per manufacturer’s rating for this conveyor series
  • Each section has about 20 rollers, each about 50 mm in diameter, spaced roughly 100 mm apart

How to use

  1. Line up the sections and connect them to match your workflow length.
  2. Level every section and secure them so the joints are smooth and even.
  3. Hook up the drive; the conveyor moves at 18 m/min.
  4. Load boxes onto the first section with the long side facing along the rollers.
  5. Remove boxes at the end or transfer them to the next machine in your line.

Setup and maintenance

  • Level the sections. Any step at a joint can catch a box and halt production. Make sure all sections are level and aligned before starting.
  • Do not overload a section. The weight a section can handle depends on the box and its position on the rollers. Contact us before planning to move heavy or oversized items.
  • Keep rollers moving freely. If a roller seizes, it can skew a box. During weekly checks, spin each roller by hand to confirm it turns smoothly.
  • Clean the frame. Strapping scraps, tape, and shrink wrap can wind around roller shafts. Remove debris before it reaches the bearings.
  • Lubrication. The conveyor is designed for minimal lubrication; follow only the manufacturer’s lubrication instructions.
  • Guards. Where the conveyor meets another machine, the transfer point must be guarded to protect hands and fingers.

Before you buy

Pricing is shown on this page. Since a conveyor is selected for your products and line, please review these points before purchasing:

  • Length. Each section measures 2050 mm. Count the number of sections for your required run; use the 1000 mm RC1M/D to fill smaller gaps.
  • Box width. Roller width is 600 mm; your box must always rest on at least three rollers.
  • Product weight. The manufacturer lists 50 kg for other conveyors in this series, but does not specify a weight for the RC2M/D. Please provide the weight and dimensions of your items and we will verify compatibility with the supplier before you place an order.
  • Operating height. Adjustable feet allow for a working height between 650 and 800 mm in this series. Let us know what equipment or surface the conveyor needs to align with at both ends.
  • Power requirements. The manufacturer does not specify this for the RC2M/D. Another powered conveyor in the same series, the ERC4M/RD, operates at 380 V / 50 Hz three-phase and uses 1 kW. Let us know your available power supply at the installation site and we will confirm compatibility.
  • Collection. This section weighs approximately 95 kg and measures 2050 mm in length, so you will need a vehicle that can accommodate this size. Goods are collected EXW and all prices are exclusive of VAT.

RC2M-D selection and operation: key considerations

Before choosing the RC2M-D, verify the type and dimensions of the products you plan to move. Each box or container should have a flat, sturdy base. Items that are too small or have uneven bottoms should not be placed directly on the rollers, as they may snag or move unpredictably. For soft packaging or unstable loads, use trays to help distribute the weight evenly.

Review your intended conveyor path for sharp curves or elevation changes, since the RC2M-D is built for straight, level operation.
