FLEX BOX Semi-automatic Case Erector

The FLEX BOX case erector folds boxes or cases and increases the speed of box assembly, helping to streamline your packing line. This machine can assemble up to 7 boxes per minute. The FLEX BOX case erector can be adjusted for a range of case sizes: L(200-600)×W(150-480)mm×H(120-500)mm. It folds the bottom flaps of the case. The operator places the box on the machine and manually folds the front bottom flap; the rear flap is folded by the pusher board; pressing the switch board with the carton activates the air cylinders to fold the side flaps; the filled carton is pushed out by either a push button or foot switch into the carton sealer. The operator loads the goods and folds the top flaps of the case. The pusher then transfers the case to a carton sealing machine for sealing both the top and bottom. This machine can be paired with the FLEX-TAPE Carton Sealing Machine. The worktable height can be set between 700mm and 800mm. The FLEX BOX case erector measures 1500 x 900 x 780 mm (on stand) / 880 mm (on casters) and has a weight of 130kg. It uses air pressure to move the box along the packing line.

The FLEX Box Case Erector is a semi-automatic machine for forming cases. You take a flat box from the integrated magazine and place it into the machine by hand. Once inserted, the box is folded and held underneath by two pneumatic valve folders. This setup allows you to fill the box easily without it tipping over. By pressing a button or using a foot pedal, the box is pneumatically pushed out of the machine and into a connected carton sealing machine, which immediately applies tape. This machine is suitable for use in industries such as chemical fiber, tobacco processing, pharmaceuticals, publishing, HVAC, home appliances, ceramics, metalworking, and more.

How does the FLEX BOX Semi-automatic Case Erector operate?

The operator opens an empty case and folds the front flap. The rear flap is folded from a 45° angle using the pusher board.

The operator places the bottom of the case onto the center guide rail of the case erector.

The operator moves the case in the direction of the arrow until the bottom right and left flaps contact the switch board at the base.

The bottom cylinder advances the case guide rod to the center guide rail to secure the case. At the same time, two cylinders rotate the right and left flap-folding boards from vertical to horizontal, folding the bottom right and left flaps. After folding, place the goods inside the case.

As shown in the diagram, the operator folds and presses the top flaps of the case, then activates the pusher device switch (or footswitch). The cylinder-driven pusher moves the filled case into the carton sealing machine for sealing.
