Instructions for using the JET Battery Strapping Tool with 12-16mm PET/PP strap

1. Arrange the straps as shown—please follow the strapping method in the illustration. Make sure the strapping belt is free from water, oil, or any other liquids.
2. Grip the lift handle—position the straps in the battery strapping tool. The compressed end of the strapping belt should overlap on top, and the lower belt must extend past the tightening wheel to cover the front of the toothed plate by 5-10mm. When inserting, use your right hand to lift the handle and your left to insert the strap. Both ends should be parallel and stacked before releasing the handle.
3. Operate the tightening lever—once the strap is in place, hold the device handle and pull the tightening lever. Pull the lever back to the rear stop, then push it forward to the front stop. Repeat several times. When the strap is tight, release the lever. Keep the tool parallel to the strap and move the strap in the opposite direction while tightening.
4. Press the welding button—after pressing the tightening button, immediately remove your finger. The device will automatically weld (the time is preset, but you can adjust tightening time clockwise or counterclockwise). Once bonded, the excess strap is cut off automatically.
5. Lift the handle to remove the strap—after strapping, raise the handle, rotate the tightening wheel, loosen the belt, balance to the right, and remove the tool.
