Designed for single-handed operation, this bander can be configured for 16-19mm or 5/8″ to 6/8″ wide compatible with polyester (PET) or polypropylene (PP) strapping. Tension can be adjusted from 400 to 5000N (13.5 to 900 lbs) tension range to ensure secure loads. The tool comes with a 14.4V Li-ion battery that recharges in 90 minutes and delivers up to 220 seals per charge. The TES Plus 16-19mm is commonly used in industries such as paper, aluminum, textiles, steel, logistics, agriculture, chemicals, and metals. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to handle. This strapping machine uses friction hot melt instead of fasteners. The device is both robust and well-designed. PET polyester strapping provides efficient and economical security for packages and pallets. This lightweight, flexible, and rust-resistant strapping material keeps goods secure. PET polyester strapping can be applied manually or with a battery-powered tool. PET strap is an excellent alternative to steel strapping, especially for medium to heavy-duty applications. Compared to steel, PET strapping offers several benefits: it does not rust, is faster to apply, and is more cost-effective. PET strapping is also ideal for loads that may expand or contract during transit due to changes in temperature or humidity. PET strap can stretch up to 7% without losing its elasticity, preserving strap rigidity. In the transportation sector, temperatures can reach 60°C, which can make PP strapping contract or expand and lose its rigidity. PET strapping, however, can withstand temperatures up to 75°C without compromising its properties. The most widely used PET strapping features a 406mm core.
