This transparent hand stretch film is 500 mm wide and 23 µm thick, supplied on 3 kg rolls. Sold by the pallet: 40 cartons, each with 6 rolls, totaling 240 rolls.

Each roll contains 212 meters of LLDPE cast film wound on a paper core that is 510 mm long and has a 50 mm inner diameter. The total roll weight is 3.0 kg, with the core making up 0.75 kg of that.

The film stretches up to 160% during use, with the inside surface providing 80% cling and the outside 20%, so the layers stick together but the pallet does not adhere to others.

Because it is transparent, labels and barcodes remain visible through the wrap.

How to use the film

1. Place your pallet on a stable surface and make sure the load is stacked evenly.
2. Secure the beginning of the film to the base of the pallet by wrapping it several times around the bottom edge.
3. Walk around the pallet with the roll, pulling the film tight to stretch it as you go.
4. Make sure each layer overlaps the previous one as you wrap up to the top of the load.
5. Finish by wrapping a few times at the top, then press the end of the film onto the layer below to secure it.

Storage and handling guidelines

• Storage. Store the rolls in a dry area at normal room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Shelf life. When stored properly, the film maintains its quality for up to 6 months.
• The core. The film has a 50 mm inner paper core. Dispensers designed for 76 mm cores, like our HOLD3, are made for the 5 kg roll, not this one.
• The cling side. The inside of the film is stickier; always wrap with the inside facing the load.
• Handling. Leave the rolls in their cartons until you need them to prevent edge damage.
