The arch measures 1500 × 2200 mm (width by height), allowing a fully loaded pallet to fit through. The arch is constructed from aluminum alloy and comes in three sections for on-site assembly.

This machine uses PP or PET strap, 11–12 mm wide and 0.55–1.0 mm thick. The strap guide is adjusted to match the strap thickness. Tension can be set anywhere from 0 to 90 kg. Each pallet can be secured with one or two parallel straps per cycle.

How to operate the ARCUS pallet strapping machine

1. Place the strap coil on the holder, feed the strap into the mechanism, and let the machine load the strap accumulator.
2. Turn on the main power, then use the SEND switch to feed the strap around the arch until the path is full.
3. Allow about 30 seconds for the heater to reach operating temperature.
4. Set the desired number of straps and the required tension for your load.
5. Position the pallet inside the arch: in automatic mode, the photo sensor starts strapping; in manual mode, press the strap button once for each strap needed.

Settings and maintenance

• Tension setting. Adjustable from 0 to 90 kg. Use lower tension for flexible loads, higher for solid, heavy loads.
• Number of straps. Choose one or two on the control panel; the strapping head moves side to side to apply parallel straps.
• Strap thickness. Adjust the strap guide gap to match your strap, ensuring smooth feeding and return.
• Emergency stop. Pressing the emergency stop immediately halts the machine; reset by turning in the direction shown by the arrow.
• Maintenance. Always turn off main power before servicing. Regularly remove strap debris and dust from the strapping head and oil the points listed in the manual; avoid getting oil on the feed rollers.
