Site Requirements

Please consider the following factors when selecting a location for the Vertical baler TONNA25:

Loading the machine with waste material

After the cardboard compactors are secured, the machine is ready for loading. Begin by closing the lower door and filling the machine. When starting a new bale, place a large piece of cardboard (or another suitable material) at the bottom of the hopper. This will help catch all ties, tapes, and solid waste during baling. Ensure that only waste material is loaded into the machine. Once the baler is filled, you can start a new baling cycle.

Baling process

The hydraulic hoses provide the clamping force needed to compress the waste material. The material is compacted to minimize its volume. The baling steps are as follows:

1. Fill the bale chamber to the top of the machine.
2. To start compressing, select the compression mode from the control panel, press the green button, and activate the “compress” function. The machine will run the compression cycle and automatically stop when finished. (The press plate can remain in position until the next refill.)
3. To return the press plate to the top position, press the green button and move it to the “pinch” setting. The machine will automatically stop at the end of the cycle and the press plate will return to its starting position.
4. The machine will stop immediately if you press the red button.
5. Repeat this process until you have produced the required number of bales.
