This model features a 1500 mm turntable (other sizes available upon request: 1650 mm, 1800 mm, 2000 mm, 2200 mm), suitable for pallets measuring 1.2 x 1 m, and can wrap up to 2200 mm in height (optional: 2600 mm, 3000 mm) with a maximum overhang of 100 mm. The pallet wrapper supports a maximum pallet weight of 2000 kg and can wrap up to 30 loads per hour.

The mechanical pre-stretch system supports a film width of 500 mm, with a maximum film diameter of 250 mm and a 76 mm film core. The film carriage can handle film rolls up to 15 kg. The machine operates at 1.5 kW and 220V-240V/50/60Hz. The SMARTWRAP X2 Pallet Wrapping Machine measures 2600 x 1500 x 2445 mm and has a weight of 400 kg.

Operating the SMARTWRAP X2 pallet wrapping machine

The SMARTWRAP X2 pallet wrapper streamlines your workflow, allowing a single operator to manage the entire process efficiently. Here’s how the operation works:

1. A forklift is used to move the goods onto the Smartwrap X2 turntable. The operator then manually secures the film to the first side of the load, following the instructions in the user manual.

2. After positioning the load, the operator starts the pallet wrapper. The turntable rotates from its starting point, and the film carriage dispenses film in sync with the turntable’s speed, wrapping the film around the load as it spins.

3. The SMARTWRAP X2 allows you to adjust wrapping settings for different types of loads. After a set number of rotations at the base, the film carriage begins to move upward. The carriage, turntable, and film feed work together to fully and securely wrap the load.

4. When the film reaches the top of the load, the photoelectric sensor detects the load’s height. The film carriage then starts to move downward after the top layer is wrapped.

5. Once the film carriage returns to the bottom, the turntable slows down. The SMARTWRAP X2 automatically stops when the bottom wrap is finished.

6. At the end of the cycle, the film is cut and the wrapping process is complete. The SMARTWRAP X2 remains in standby mode, ready for the next pallet.
