The FS150 is a continuous band sealer that keeps your process moving. Twin belts grip the bag opening and guide it through the heated section, press the film together, and cool the seal, all while you’re readying the next bag.

The belts operate at 0 to 13 m/min, with adjustable speed, so the sealer matches your workflow. You can set the sealing temperature anywhere from 0 to 300 °C to suit your packaging film.

This is the vertical version: bags stand upright during sealing, which keeps powders, granules, or loose product inside and out of the seal area. The conveyor supports up to 3 kg per bag.

How to use the FS150 vertical band sealer

For optimal sealing, test the seal quality on new bag materials at a lower speed before increasing production. The seal should look even and pass a basic peel or burst test. Regularly inspect the sealing and guide belts, and clean the conveyor to keep the machine running smoothly.

Bag sealing process

1. Turn on the sealer, set the right temperature for your film, and allow the heating block to reach temperature.
2. Adjust the belt speed so that bags exit the sealer properly sealed and cooled.
3. Hold the filled bag upright and insert the open end between the two belts.
4. The belts move the bag through the heated block, the pressure wheel, and the cooling block.
5. Remove the sealed bag at the end; you can feed the next bag in right after without stopping the belts.

Settings and maintenance

• Temperature. Gradually increase from low to high until the seal is secure. Setting the temperature too high too quickly can damage both the film and the belt.
• Speed. Adjustable from 0 to 13 meters per minute. Lower speeds apply more heat to the seal; higher speeds apply less. Set the temperature first, then adjust the speed.
• Seal position. Place the seal 10 to 20 mm from the bag edge. Too close causes curling; too far reduces bag capacity.
• Film. Handles single-layer film up to 0.08 mm thick, including PE, PP, and multi-layer types.
• Daily care. Brush off any film residue from the sealing belt and wipe down the conveyor table.
• Wear parts. The sealing belt and toothed guide belt should be checked monthly. Replace any belt immediately if torn to prevent seal damage.
