The ZONE600F is an impulse sealer with foot pedal and a 600 mm bar. It seals the widest bags in this category in a single operation: sacks, pallet liners, protective covers, and any packaging that would require two passes with a 300 mm or 450 mm bar.

The heating wire is energized only when the jaws are closed, and cools down while still clamped, so the bar stays cool between cycles and the seal is set before removing the bag. The seal width is 2 to 5 mm and the heating time can be adjusted.

The jaws are operated by a foot pedal, which is ideal for wide bags: both hands are free to hold the bag flat across the 600 mm bar during sealing.

The sealer is mounted on its own stand, measuring 700 × 570 × 880 mm, weighs approximately 22 kg, and operates from a standard outlet at 1000 W.

Uses for a 600 mm sealing bar

• Seal the widest bags in one step. A 600 mm seal closes sacks or liners in a single motion, with no overlap or need for a second seal.
• Cool bar between seals. The heating wire is only active during sealing, so the bar stays cool to the touch and does not warm up the workspace.
• Keep both hands on the bag. The foot pedal closes the jaws, so you can hold large bags flat with both hands for a straight seal.
• Adjusts for your film. Set the heating time to match the thickness, so both thin PE and thicker films seal cleanly.

How to make a seal

1. Turn on the sealer and adjust the heating time to match your film type.
2. Lay the filled bag with its opening flat across the full 600 mm sealing bar.
3. Step on the foot pedal: the jaws close and the heating wire activates for your set time.
4. After the indicator light turns off, wait one or two seconds so the seal cools while still clamped.
5. Remove the bag by pulling it sideways, left and right, not toward yourself.

Settings and maintenance

• Heating time. Start with a short setting and increase gradually until the seal holds. Too long will burn through the film.
• Bag position. The opening should be flat across the whole bar. If a 600 mm bag opens later, a fold in the middle is usually the cause.
• After sealing. Wait one or two seconds, then pull the bag away sideways, never straight ahead.
• Never seal empty. Closing the jaws with nothing inside will damage the PTFE cloth.
• Cleaning. Keep the sealing bar and cloth free of melted film and never use wet cleaning methods.
• Wear parts. The PTFE cloth, heating wire, and upper pressure pad; if the pad is damaged, the seal will be uneven.
