Operating the P409

1. Place the film roll onto the shaft and attach the film’s starting edge to the box.
2. Position the box in the center of the turntable and hold it steady using the hand grip.
3. Adjust the speed with the control knob.
4. Step on the foot switch to start: the table rotates and the film wraps around the box.
5. Press the switch again to stop, cut the film, and remove the wrapped box.

Setup and maintenance

• Assembly. Attach the four casters, the film shaft, the turntable, and the foot switch. The machine is then ready for use.
• Shaft height. Use the 450 mm shaft for shorter boxes and the 850 mm shaft for taller ones.
• Speed. Begin at a low speed for light or tall boxes, and increase speed once they are stable.
• Weight. Do not load more than 70 kg onto the turntable.
• Stability. Lock the casters before starting to wrap.
• Maintenance. Keep the rubber surface of the turntable clean to prevent boxes from slipping.
