Squeegee Blades for the J115

These squeegee blades fit the J115 scrubber, with a front blade that gathers water and a rear blade that seals to the floor so the vacuum can pick up the liquid.

The front blade measures 1055 × 57 × 4 mm and the rear is 1126 × 60 × 4.76 mm, covering the full 1080 mm squeegee width of the machine.

These blades are what leave the floor dry after cleaning. If a blade is worn, the 550 W vacuum will pull air instead of water, leaving the floor wet, streaky, and slippery.

Squeegee blades are a consumable part, just like the brushes. They should be rotated or replaced regularly, since the first sign of wear is having to clean the same area twice.

How to change the strips

1. Park the scrubber, turn it off, and lower the squeegee for easy access.
2. Release the clamp and remove the old strip, noting the orientation of both front and rear strips.
3. Place the new strip onto the pins, making sure a fresh edge faces down and the strip sits flat along its length.
4. Secure the clamp evenly along the strip, so it’s not tighter at one end than the other.
5. Lower the squeegee and adjust it level with the nut on its screw, then test on a wet area: no water should be left behind.

Maintenance and replacement tips

• Keep the squeegee level. It needs to touch the floor evenly across its width. If it tilts, one side dries while the other leaves a wet streak.
• Rotate the strip. Each strip has four usable sides. When the first side gets rounded, rotate to the next. Replace the strip once all four sides are worn.
• Clean after every shift. Grit trapped under the strip can cut it and scratch your floors. Wipe down both the strip and the squeegee daily.
• Don’t store it bent. If a strip is left folded, it will keep that shape and won’t seal properly again.
• Check the water trail. A thin line of water left behind the machine is the first sign the edge is worn, even before you see visible wear.
• Inspect the vacuum hose as well. If a new strip doesn’t solve a wet floor, check the hose, the filter, or the recovery tank seal for issues.

• Machine model. These strips fit the J115 only. The J25, J45, and J85 each use different squeegee sizes. Order by your machine model.
• Front or rear. The two strips are different: front is 1055 × 57 × 4 mm, rear is 1126 × 60 × 4.76 mm. Specify which you need, or order both.
• Quantity. One set includes a front and a rear strip. Keep an extra set in stock. Replacing strips is quick, but getting new ones takes time.
• Replacement frequency. Wear depends on your floor type. Rough concrete wears rubber faster, while sealed epoxy is easier on strips. Track usage by operating hours, not by months.
• Brushes too. Brushes and strips wear out together. If you’re replacing strips, check the brushes at the same time.
• Collection. Small parts, packed in a 15 × 15 × 15 cm box. Goods are collected EXW and prices do not include VAT.
