The Dual Head Inkjet Printer ST-210S-H2 is a packaging inkjet printer equipped with two print heads. When combined, they create a single print area up to 25.4 mm high. Used separately, each head can print on two different spots or produce two parallel lines on your packaging.

Each print head delivers up to 600 × 600 DPI resolution, and the printer can operate at line speeds up to 406 meters per minute at 90 DPI. The print heads operate at a distance of 1 to 5 mm from the product, with no additional components in between.

The 7-inch color touchscreen runs on embedded Linux and supports over 40 languages. The system manages more than twenty separate counters and prints text, dates, shift codes, serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, and database-driven fields.

The enclosure is made from aviation-grade aluminum. The controller measures 202 × 119 × 61.2 mm, and each print head is 112 × 79 × 103 mm. Power is supplied by a 100–240 V adapter. The printer is certified with RoHS, CE, and FCC marks.

How the printer operates on your line

1. Install the controller next to your conveyor and position both print heads above it, 1 to 5 mm from the product, then ground the equipment.
2. Choose whether to print a single tall code or two separate marks, and set this up on the touch screen.
3. Place the photo eye where packages are detected, and if your line speed varies, add the encoder.
4. Enter your print text on the screen or send it over the network, then adjust print height and resolution.
5. Start your line: each package passing the photo eye is printed as it moves by.

Settings and maintenance

• Single block or two marks. When both heads are joined, you get a 25.4 mm print; when used separately, you can print in two locations. Set this first, as it determines head placement.
• Resolution and speed. Print at up to 406 m/min at 90 DPI, or as slow as 60 m/min at 600 DPI. Use the lowest resolution that still gives a scannable code.
• Distance. Keep the heads 1 to 5 mm from the surface, and set the guide plate 0.5 to 2.5 mm from the product to protect the nozzles.
• Mounting. The bracket should be installed where there is no vibration, and both heads must be at the same distance to ensure even print quality.
• Cartridges. Each head uses its own cartridge. Always insert or remove cartridges at an angle, and never remove a cartridge while printing is in progress.
• Power and dust. Use a dedicated outlet, consider a UPS, and keep the printer in a dust-free area.
