How the Signode BXT3 battery banding tool operates:

How the Signode BXT3-19 poly strapping tool functions Use the rocker lever to open the tensioning mechanism and insert the straps.
The straps are held between the rocker’s toothplate (1) and the tension wheel (2).
The tension wheel (2) rotates counterclockwise to tighten the strap.
The straps are joined in the welding section (3) using friction welding.
The upper strap is trimmed by the knife (4).

The Signode BXT3 offers three different operating modes:

Semi-automatic (default setting)
- Hold down the tension button (Section 3.1) until the selected tension is reached. The tool then automatically welds and cuts the upper strap. You can also weld manually at any time by pressing the welding button.
Fully automatic
- Simply tap the tension button (Section 3.1) to start the tensioning process. When the preset tension is reached, the tool automatically welds and cuts the upper strap. This mode is ideal for high-volume applications.
Manual
- Hold the tension button (Section 3.1) until you reach the desired strap tension. Then briefly press the welding button (Section 3.1) to weld and cut the upper strap. This mode is recommended for packages with varying firmness.
