Squeegee rubber strips for the J45

These squeegee rubber strips fit the J45 floor scrubber. Both the front and rear strips collect water behind the brush, so the suction motor can remove it from the floor.

The front strip is 850 × 47 × 3.2 mm, and the rear strip is 900 × 50 × 4.2 mm, both made for the 800 mm squeegee on the machine.

These strips are key to leaving the floor dry after cleaning. If a strip is worn or dirty, the 500 W suction motor pulls in air instead of water, which can leave the floor wet and unsafe.

Each strip attaches to the squeegee with a steel plate and buckle, so you can replace it quickly without any special tools.

How to replace the strips

1. Turn off the machine and raise the squeegee.
2. Open buckle 2 for the front strip or buckle 1 for the rear strip, then remove the steel plate holding the strip in place.
3. Remove the old strip and install the new one.
4. Reattach the steel plate and close the buckle; if the plate feels loose, adjust the nut at the top of the buckle.
5. Lower the squeegee and test it on a wet area: the floor behind the machine should be dry.

Maintenance and adjustment

• Squeegee height. If the strip presses down too much, the machine is harder to move; if it’s too high, water remains on the floor. Adjust the height using the washers under the caster supports.
• Squeegee tilt. If one side is lower, loosen the nut on the squeegee screw, level it, and retighten the nut.
• Keep strips clean. Wipe the strips with a damp cloth; debris under the strip can leave water behind.
• After use. Raise the squeegee and wipe away any dirt; clean the squeegee, strips, and brush every three days.
• Secure fit. If a strip isn’t tightly fastened, air can get in and the machine won’t dry the floor properly.
• When to replace. If the edge is worn and no longer seals, it’s time to install new squeegee blades.

• The machine. These squeegee blades fit the J45. The J25, J85, and J115 each require their own blades, so order according to your machine model.
• Front and rear. The front blade measures 850 × 47 × 3.2 mm, while the rear blade is 900 × 50 × 4.2 mm. They are not interchangeable.
• A spare set. Keep an extra set of squeegee blades in stock to avoid downtime if one wears out.
• The brush too. The brush wears along with the squeegee blades, so check its condition when you replace the blades.
• Collection. Packed in a 15 × 15 × 15 cm box, weighing about 1 kg. Goods are collected EXW and prices do not include VAT.
